Your business’s “About” section is one of the most important areas to focus on when creating or editing your CityCliq page. Here’s why:
Search engines like Google, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, etc rank pages by the quality of information on the page. But the quality of information is only determined by how well it matches up to what searchers are looking for. So, if you’re a painting contractor in Southern California, but you don’t make reference to that specifically on your page, it is unlikely that you’ll be found by people that search for, let’s say, “house painting chino,” which is a search term that we’ve actually seen before.
That said, make sure that you talk about all of your services in detail. Are there any services or products that you provide to the community that your competitors don’t? What sets you apart from similar businesses? Talk about where you’re located and the cities and regions that you can provide services to. If you’re in a large metropolitan area, there may be several cities that you provide services to. Be as inclusive as possible. When writing, be descriptive, be honest and provide people with details that will help them learn about you and what you offer. This is a great opportunity to win new business, so make the most of it.
