Salty, sandy, and a little sunburned, CityCliq is back in the office, fresh from an amazing weekend filled with great people and competitive surf.

Many thanks to everyone who participated and attended the Surfing the Blues contest this past weekend in Jacksonville Beach. We at CityCliq were honored to be involved in such a great production and look forward to participating in many more events in the years to come. The weather was fantastic all weekend and the only things that were missing were some decent waves. Despite the less than desirable water conditions, the competitors still showed up in full-force and put on an amazing display of athleticism and stamina.

Once again, it was great meeting and talking with everyone who came out to support the event this weekend. We definitely have a very cool community of business owners/surf aficionados in our little beach town. Thanks again to everyone for making this weekend extra special for us and for supporting your local community. Events like these are the truly the lifeblood of our city.

Peanut Butter & Jelly, Strawberries & Cream, Abbott & Costello and the newest incredible combination…Salt Life & CityCliq.

That’s right, these two juggernauts of the beach have joined forces to present one of North Florida’s premiere spring surfing contests. The annual Surfing the Blues Competition is a huge event and we are proud to be able to contribute to the local community in a way that we are all incredibly passionate about. The competition is also running in conjunction with another even bigger event, the annual Springing the Blues Festival (celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary), so expect the beaches to be at full capacity. This is a Pro/Am competition, open for all to join and Florida Surfing Association members will receive rating points depending on how well they can shred the sea.

The competition will take place on April 10th -11th at the Jacksonville Beach Pier. This is an early competition so get plenty of sleep, grab a mean cup of joe, and head on down to the beach by 9am to catch some of North Florida’s best surfers in action. Also, the earlier you arrive, the better chance you will have to beat the Springing the Blues crowds and snag an ever-elusive parking spot.

CityCliq is very excited to be a part of this incredible event and we urge everyone to grab some shade under our tent on the beach and say hello. There may even be some free, exclusive CityCliq goodies for you if you decide to come find us. We are looking forward to meeting and getting salty with each and every one of you this weekend.
