Salty, sandy, and a little sunburned, CityCliq is back in the office, fresh from an amazing weekend filled with great people and competitive surf.
Many thanks to everyone who participated and attended the Surfing the Blues contest this past weekend in Jacksonville Beach. We at CityCliq were honored to be involved in such a great production and look forward to participating in many more events in the years to come. The weather was fantastic all weekend and the only things that were missing were some decent waves. Despite the less than desirable water conditions, the competitors still showed up in full-force and put on an amazing display of athleticism and stamina.
Jacksonville native Asher Nolan took top honors in the Pro Heat and you can find the rest of the scores right here: Official Scores
Once again, it was great meeting and talking with everyone who came out to support the event this weekend. We definitely have a very cool community of business owners/surf aficionados in our little beach town. Thanks again to everyone for making this weekend extra special for us and for supporting your local community. Events like these are the truly the lifeblood of our city.
Were you at the contest this weekend? If so, please let us know about some of your favorite moments or feel free to post links to your pictures. We would love to see them.
Thanks!
~The CityCliq Team
